Inspirational Wednesday: Italian record of Tonetto in discus throwing and Petrillo in 400 meters

The departure for the Paralympic European Championships in Athletics in Bydgoszcz (Poland), scheduled in a few days, is approaching with the best of wishes for the blue jersey.

There are two squads of the national team who will present themselves at the appointment with two fresh Italian records in their pockets, signed last weekend.

The first concerns the amputated pitcher Lorenzo Tonetto, already eighth at the last World Championships 2019 improves his record with a 47.04 launch confirming the primacy of the F64 category of 43 cm, dating back to 2019.

The second Italian record comes again from the visually impaired transgender national athlete Valentina Petrillo; the Neapolitan sprinter hits the so-called “High Performance” with the record of 1’00 “” 31, valid for bringing Italy new slots for the Tokyo Paralympics.
